Itasca, IL – April 28, 2022 – Unbounded Media Corporation (“UMC” or the “Company”) today announced the formation of FieldHouse as a division of its original entertainment segment. UMC is creating the division to focus on genuine human stories within the context of the drama of sports. The first project produced under the FieldHouse banner was the feature film PLAYING THROUGH, that recently kicked off a run on the festival circuit after winning the Audience Award at the Sarasota Film Festival.
Peter Odiorne, the Chief Executive Officer of UMC, commented, “FieldHouse has been called the ‘Blumhouse for Sports’ as it will focus on value budget films that combine sports and compelling human stories”.
FieldHouse is currently in development of multiple projects based on optioned source material as well as original concepts. The Company intends to produce a slate of a dozen films during its first phase.
UMC’s announcement comes on the heels of its recent success producing the feature film FAMILY SQUARES and the launching of a branded production division due in the second quarter.
