Sound is indispensable to a good film as it brings life to the characters and creates the emotional atmosphere that transforms a film from simply moving images on a screen to a heartfelt and wholesome experience. But what if sound becomes the sole medium in storytelling? Ricky Burchell’s audio series “Mask My Soul” is exploring the soul and dynamics of audio movies with the release of his audio drama series in collaboration with his partner Milton Harris III and Bleav network.
Bleav is a sports and entertainment omnichannel production company that specializes in producing top-notch digital sports and fresh pop culture content for their dynamic audience. The content of the production company can be heard, watched, and read across different choice platforms such as podcast, audio, video, streaming, digital, and social media channels.
Writer and producer, Ricky Burchell is elated to release his new audio drama series titled Mask my Soul. In expressing his excitement, he said: “We believe the audience will be truly amazed at the depth of the story, the quality and the exciting performances. When I was producing the series, I wanted people to listen but still give them the feel as if they were actually watching their favorite series on Netflix. This is just like your favorite Netflix, Hulu or Amazon drama/action series but it’s just all audio and I believe it’s a fresh and interesting angle to storytelling.”
The audio series centers around the heroine, Veronica Kilter, who is taken under the wing of an underground cybercriminal popularly known as The Master. He trains her to carry out his elaborate heists, causing Veronica to live an exceedingly dangerous life; living as a common artist by day but carefully executing crimes by night. She accepts the uniqueness of her life until she falls in love with a man who makes her doubt her choices.
