TAMPA, FL – Jan 20, 2022 – Athlete Innovations (AI), a budding powerhouse in the sports performance industry based in Tampa, Florida, led by veteran Sports Performance Director Cliff “Shaud” Brown, a former member of the Strength and Conditioning team for the Cincinnati Bengals, will open the doors to its facility, January 31st, 2022. NFL hopefuls will be busy preparing for Draft Day, going through drills, mental performance training, and other rigorous exercises. The private tour the facility to get a complete picture of ‘Day-In-The-Life’ of prospects laying it all on the line for a chance of a lifetime to make it to the big leagues.
Athlete Innovations specializes in preparing athletes for NFL and NBA Combines by developing the speed, agility, strength, and conditioning skills they need to reach their full potential. The members-only facility caters to a high-spend athletic community to maximize their performance. The high-impact facility also offers semi-private boxing lessons and HIIT fitness classes. Other specialized training programs are available for youth to professional athletes from all sports. Cliff has worked with NFL stars such as Bucs starting linebacker Lavonte David, Bengals Linebacker, Jordan Davis, Broncos Defensive Tackle, Deshawn Williams, former Bucs linebacker now Dallas Cowboy, Devante Bond, and many others.
A unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of nearly 20 collegiate and professional athletes as they prepare for forthcoming NFL Pro Days and NFL Draft Day happening this spring is a vantage point that isn’t often available. Media members are invited to tour the Athlete Innovations facility during the facility’s grand opening on Jan. 31, 2022, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Media and community members will have a chance to meet the athletes, training for the upcoming NFL Combine. Athletes from the power five conferences will attend schools such as Purdue, Colorado, USF, The U, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Utah State, and many others. Players include Edge Rusher Deandre Johnson of Miami, Tampa native, Keyshon Camp of Pitt, running-back Tyriek Macalister, the 2021 Mountain East Division, Player of the Year Recipient who played at Charleston Southern, among other notables.
“Owning my own sports performance facility has been a lifelong dream of mine, along with seeing how athletes prepare for the next phases of their lives. I’ve worked to create an environment that reflects the things I value. Athlete Innovations is a culmination of all these things,” said Cliff “Shaud” Brown, Founder and Sports Performance Director of Athlete Innovations.
Before opening Athlete Innovations, Brown coached all athletes from elite professionals to high schoolers. He has served as the Cincinnati Bengals Strength and Conditioning Coach, Performance Director of the NFL, NBA, MLS Combine Program, Lead Performance Coach for NFL, NBA, MLB Off-Season Program, and coached student-athletes around the U.S.
At Athlete Innovations, Brown and his staff will work with up-and-coming athletes to develop their skills and maintain their competitive edge. Athletes are also coached on nutrition, recovery, and psychological preparation.
