Oryahh got involved with music at a young age; finding delight in electronic dance music and techno like his contemporaries at the time. In his words: “Ever since I can remember, music was a highly integral part of my life. My father is a Jewish Rabbi and Torah scholar and as such, our home was regularly filled with prayer, song, and melodies by luminaries of the music world such as Shlomo Carlebach”.
Although Oryahh never intended to pursue music as his life-long vacation and profession, seeing that music brought him great joy and that he also had the talent to create it well, he was hooked. To Oryahh, it is important to him that anyone listening to his music is immersed in an experience that is full of novelty.
The music industry has afforded Oryahh the opportunity to develop friendships with a highly eclectic group of people who are always cheering and supporting one another because in his inner circle, there is no jealousy amongst peers. In the months to come, Oryahh will be releasing a song with Nissim Black – the popular songwriter and record producer who share a similar upbringing with Oryahh as an African-American Jew.
Oryahh is a firm believer that one has to be ready to recycle the adversity life throws their way into something healthy and positive, after the loss of his beloved mother in February 2021. The artist is of the view that this experience improved the quality of his lyrics, owing to the intense pain he went through.
Shlomo Zalman (Sam) Bregman, CEO of Alpha Tribe Media is a major believer in Oryahh’s talent. He says, “I’ve been around rising and well-established musical artists for a while, and without a doubt, Oryahh has that ‘it’ factor. He is humble, hardworking, and has that crossover appeal that will surely make him a success story in the years to come”.
