Last week the Canadian government renewed its advisory against non-essential travel, capping a string of bad news for the travel business that started three weeks ago. On November 30th Canada announced an additional requirement for testing international air travellers on arrival, and two days later, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shortened the testing timeline for all international air travelers to the U.S from 72 hours to 24 hours before departure.
