July 21, 2022 – Thiensville, Wisconsin – The Golden Passing Angelina Forever 28 5K run will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 2 to 6 pm at Thiensville Fireman’s Park, 250 Elm Street, Thiensville, Wisconsin. This 5K is being held for the first time to remember Angelina, a young mother, who died a year ago from a blood infection. As the event organizers at Just-Listen.org put it, this is Angelina’s first annual Angelversary.
The Golden Passing 5K run will feature music and refreshments, a raffle and prizes, a quilt display, and guest speaker, Christopher Zahn. Additionally, there will be an appearance made by the Milwaukee Flyers at 2:30pm and the event will culminate with the 5K Run/Walk at 4:00.
“So full of life. Angelina always would greet you full of hugs, kisses, and smiles. Angelina loved sports, art, music, and most of all she loved her boy, Mason, her world,” said Tina Perry, President, and founder of Just Listen and the event’s sponsor.
The 5K will not only commemorate Angelina’s life but will also highlight the struggles of addiction while working to end the stigma associated with addiction, according to event organizers.
Furthermore, this 5K provides opportunities for community involvement. The public is invited to attend and participate in the run. Similarly, sponsorship opportunities for the event are available. Visit the event website to register or become a sponsor. GoldenPassing.5k.run.
