Recently, a student research team from the School of Textile and Garment Engineering of Suzhou University in China has achieved a breakthrough in the research and development of structural color fibers based on the optical effect.
At the beginning of the study, the team members successfully optimized the materials for the preparation of structural color fibers after many experiments.
On this basis, the structural color fibers of different colors are obtained through further study, and these colors cover all the visible spectra. The test report of Modern Silk National Engineering Laboratory shows that the structural color fiber products made by this team meet the industry standards for color fastness to friction and soaping, and are free of fluorine and heavy metals.
Now the fact is that traditional printing and dyeing is a high pollution, high energy consumption industry, environmental pollution and energy consumption problems are more serious. Hot and humid sizing and printing and dyeing workshops may also cause occupational diseases for textile printing and dyeing workers. At the same time, printing and dyeing itself also has some disadvantages, such as uneven dyeing, sensitization and so on. Compared with the emerging dyeing technology, the developed structural color technology directly omits the step of printing and dyeing, and fundamentally solves the problem, which can not only improve production efficiency, but also save energy and reduce emissions.
As the manufacturer and manufacturer of modern workwear, we have also noticed this point deeply, which is also the reason why GREENLAND continues to practice sustainability. From the source, the clothing manufacturing industry will inevitably bring pollution and damage to the environment, but every link from the beginning of raw materials, minimizing the impact on the environment and the consumption of resources will be the trend of clothing and all industries in the future.
This coincides with the green, environmental protection and energy saving that we have been advocating.
While pursuing the production of better workwear, we also take environmental protection as our responsibility, seeking to manage our environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environment. Just as the ISO 45001:2018 we have been certified, this also what we call sustainability.
