Mar 29, 2022 – Electronic act, ‘Love My Robot’ have proudly announced that he will be releasing a new single under their electronic bedroom-pop project titled ‘Turning Complete’. The single will be released across all digital streaming platforms.
Colombian electronic artist Love My Robot returns with another high concept electro pop gem lyrically inspired by AI pioneer Alan Turing. A sleek and ultramodern slice of futuristic cosmic disco, ‘Turing Complete’ whimsically delineates an imagined love affair between a human and a robot.
Featuring the vocals of sound designer Mon, ‘Turing Complete’ was mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Joel Hamilton and recalls acts like Robyn, Sally Shapiro, Little Boots, and Royksopp. Love My Robot’s last single received acclaim in Dancing Astronaut, EDM Sauce, Data Transmission, and Raver Rafting.
Love My Robot will be doing a keynote address on the impact of AI on the creative industries at the BIME-Bogotá Conference this May. Love My Robot is a music project from Colombian technologist Carolina Castilla. At once danceable and densely conceptual, Love My Robot combines Castilla’s passion for techno, electro, Gqom, and Cumbia music with incisive, ultra-relevant commentary on the endless possibilities and frightening pitfalls of AI machine learning.
From organizing underground raves in Bogotá, to managing tropical pop acts, to launching her own successful Silicon Valley startup and doing machine learning research for one of the biggest music brands on the planet, Castilla has always followed her muse into the weird and angular corners of the world.
Forged from Castilla’s personal struggles during the pandemic, Love My Robot is celebratory music that also expresses the melancholy of solitude that we all faced during these unprecedented times. It is also a complete audio visual project that will include animated videos, VR events, DJmixes, live shows, a robotics contest for kids (!?), NFT drops and more.
