BESN X Community Is Proud to Host Their First BIPOC Gaming Exhibition, the BIPOC Innovation & Gaming Award Show & Expo.

March 11th, 2022 – Atlanta, GA – Black eSports Network’s nonprofit division, BESN X Community, a Microsoft Startups Company, is proud to host their first BIPOC Gaming exhibition, the BIPOC Innovation & Gaming Award Show & Expo.

The BIPOC Innovation & Gaming Expo will showcase Black, Indigenous, and people of color active and supportive of the video gaming and technology industries through awareness, networking, education, and career opportunity creation. The Expo also allows BESN X Community to conduct network and workforce development, allowing attendees to create and show a proof of concept for their ever-building portfolios.

The event is three days long, May 6th to May 8th, at the Sheraton Downtown Atlanta.

Attendees will also have opportunities to check out vendors, watch showcases, attend panels and programming and participate in pitch competitions, workshops, and networking events!

Saturday, May 7th, the BIPOC Innovation & Gaming Award Show will be held in Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom. The awards ceremony will have five categories, and each one has a Lifetime Achievement Award.

BESN X Community President Tim Fields has laboriously organized this event since the end of 2020. As the president of BESN X Community, he spent all of 2021 cultivating the nonprofit’s overall creation, along with its goals, ideas, and ambitions on how to help put people of color at the forefront of video gaming and technology industries.
